The Murray Community School Foundation Fund was established within the South Central Iowa Community Foundation in 1996. Its mission is to enhance educational opportunities for students in the Murray School District.
Revenue generated by the fund supports a variety of projects and provides scholarships for graduating seniors at Murray Community School.
The foundation hosts several annual fundraisers, including fried chicken dinners in March and October, a fall pancake supper and pie auction, and a chili supper and pie auction at the start of each year.
