Since 1996, the Murray Community School Foundation Fund has been a cornerstone of support for the Murray School District. Established within the South Central Iowa Community Foundation, our mission is simple but vital: to enhance educational opportunities and open doors for every student in our district.
From funding innovative classroom projects to providing essential scholarships for our graduating seniors, the revenue we generate goes directly back into the hands and minds of our youth. But we don’t do it alone. Our success is built on the spirit of Murray—found in the laughter and shared meals of our annual fried chicken dinners, pancake suppers, and legendary pie auctions.
