Welcome from our Superintendent

It’s with pride and honor, that we are able to serve our students at Murray Community Schools. We look forward to working together this year and the years to come on behalf of our students.

Everything we will do is because people matter. We will provide an educational environment that challenges the status quo, providing a student-centered environment. We are excited to work together to embrace diversity and strive to provide learning opportunities for “ALL” students seeking to achieve academic, social, and emotional success. Together we will recognize all success is dependent on partnerships with parents and the community; such partnerships will only enhance our schools and provide a critical level of support and assistance necessary for student success.

As partners, we will inspire action toward our established district vision and goals, painting a vision of the future that inspires each other to do whatever it takes to get there. We will clear away any roadblocks that would constrain creativity and innovation, while creating an environment that supports taking risks. All while understanding all our actions will be made consciously and intentionally taking into account the best interests of the students. We will continue to model the importance of caring and building relationships while understanding that all of our decisions have consequences across the entire system. Working together we will create the necessary conditions that result in dramatic and accelerated student achievement, closing the achievement gap and improving overall school performance.
