Open Enrollment is the process by which parents/guardians residing in an Iowa district may enroll their children into another Iowa school district under the terms and conditions of Iowa Code section 282.18 and 291-Iowa Administrative Code 17.
Enrolling at Murray
The open enrollment deadline is March 1, 2022 (22-23 school year) for Grades 1-12. The deadline is September 1, 2022 for Kindergarten and preschool special education students.
As a reminder, Iowa Law requires an application for each child in a family requesting open enrollment to be sent to both the resident and receiving districts on or before the deadline in order to be considered for approval.
