SAFE+SOUND: Speaking Up for Safety

Your Voice Matters. Your Identity is Protected.

At Murray Community Schools, the safety and well-being of our students is our top priority. We believe that a safe school environment is built on partnership and communication. That is why we have adopted SAFE+SOUND, an anonymous reporting tool designed to empower students, parents, teachers, and community members to help identify and intervene with at-risk individuals before they hurt themselves or others.

What is SAFE+SOUND? SAFE+SOUND is a 24/7 anonymous reporting system. It provides a confidential way to report safety concerns when you aren’t sure who to talk to, or when you want to remain anonymous.

What should I report? Please use this tool to report any concern that threatens the safety of our school or students, including:

  • Bullying or cyberbullying

  • Threats of violence against the school

  • Weapons possession

  • Suicidal thoughts or self-harm

  • Drug or alcohol use

  • Sexual harassment or abuse

How do I make a report? You can submit a secure tip 24 hours a day, 7 days a week through the following methods:

Mobile App: Download the free SAFE+SOUND app.

Online: Safe+Sound

Important: SAFE+SOUND is for reporting concerns to help prevent tragedies. If there is an immediate emergency or a crime in progress, please call 911.
