Scholarships with an April deadline:

Osceola Eagles Lodge

Vaughn Cline Agricultural Scholarship

  • For graduates of a Clarke County School
  • Must be pursuing an agricultural education at either a 2-year or a 4-year school

 Wilson Memorial Scholarship

  • Available to a Murray senior
  • Must be entering a trade or technical program (carpentry, electrical, plumbing, mechanic, nursing, etc.)

Monty Chew Memorial Scholarship

  • Must have attended Murray Community High School for two complete years
  • Must be pursuing an education in an agricultural, health-related, or construction-related field
  • Must have a 3.00 GPA or higher

Clarke Electric Cooperative Scholarship

  • Parents must be members and reside in the Clarke Electric Service area
  • Can be used for college or technical school

    Greater Regional Health Auxiliary Scholarship

    • Must be pursuing a health-related career
    • Must have two letters of recommendation
    • Residents of Adair, Adams, Clarke, Ringgold, and Taylor Union.

  • $300 award
  • Must be attending school in Iowa
  • Must submit a transcript, class rank, and ACT composite score

  • Available to one male and one female
  • $1,000 award-Must be junior or senior during the 2023-2024 school year

  • Must be a senior in high school and seeking a post-secondary education

  • Must be a Post Member, a Unit Member, or a Veteran’s child, grandchild, or great-grandchild
  • Plan to attend school in Iowa

Clarke County Old Iron Club Scholarship

  • The field of Study must pertain to Agriculture
  • 2 or 4-year program, or trade school
  • Award will be given for the second semester or term of education, upon proof of enrollment. The name and contact information for the Old Iron Club representative will be included in the award letter.
  • Students must exhibit characteristics of leadership, community service, and character.
  • The student should exhibit some financial need however, the scholarship is not based on need alone.
  • The award letters will be presented at the school awards program.
  • The awards for 2024 will be two (2) scholarships in the amount of $500 each.

  • In order to be eligible to apply for this scholarship the student must have an active checking/savings account at First National Bank- Osceola or student’s parents or guardian has an active relationship with First National Bank- Osceola.
